Residents live in small groups where they can be involved, as much as they are able, in the comforting and familiar activities of daily life.

Mount St. Mary residents have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities and programs, from simple daily tasks such as light housekeeping, table setting, personal laundry and food preparation, to music therapy, art and leisure activities and outings.

These activities are provided to benefit residents by increasing their independence, dignity and quality of life, while supporting their physical, spiritual, social, intellectual and emotional needs.

Government funding is not available for many of these activities, although we believe they are vital to the health and wellbeing of our residents. The Mount St. Mary Foundation was established in part to ensure that funding is available for programs and activities that benefit our residents.
