Mount St. Mary Foundation is celebrating its fifth anniversary - and Sister Lucy Dumont's 80th birthday - with another fun-filled day at the GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon.

In 2006, Sister Lucy decided to walk the Half-Marathon to raise funds to help the residents of Mount St. Mary Hospital. Since then she has inspired a growing number of runners, walkers, volunteers, and donors, who call themselves the Mount St. Marythoners, to join her on race day.

This year, the team is aiming higher than ever, with a fundraising goal of $80,000 - in celebration of Sister Lucy's milestone birthday. The funds they raise will help purchase special mattresses, beds, and other much needed hospital equipment.

a success! On Sunday, April 11, 2010 over 220 guests joined us for a celebration in honour of Sister Lucy's 80th birthday and the 5th anniversary of the Mount St. Mary Foundaiton. Thank you for helping to make this event such a success.
