Planning ahead for a meaningful gift
When you plan ahead and leave a gift to Mount St. Mary Foundation in, you are leaving a legacy of compassionate, loving care that will last for many years to come.
The most frequent type of planned gift is a bequest – naming the Mount St. Mary Foundation as a beneficiary in your will.
Your lawyer can change your existing will, or help you write a new one that bequeaths a portion of your estate to Mount St. Mary Foundation. Your estate receives a donation receipt for the full amount of the bequest, which can significantly reduce any tax payable on your final tax return. Your advisor or lawyer can help you decide which of the several types of bequest is best for you.
By letting us know that’s you’ve left a bequest to Mount St. Mary Foundation, you become a member of our Heritage Circle and encourage others to do the same.
