Mount St. Mary Foundation has established an endowment fund to honour the Sisters of St. Ann, who established Mount St. Mary Hospital, and who have played an outstanding role in our province for over 150 years.

The history of Victoria is linked inextricably with the Sisters of St. Ann. From the city’s very earliest days, the Sisters taught, housed, cared for and inspired generation after generation, in Victoria and across British Columbia.

Mount St. Mary Hospital sits on the old St. Joseph’s Hospital site where many British Columbians were born and many nurses were educated and worked.

The Sisters of St. Ann Legacy Fund will ensure that the Sisters’ mission of education and loving care continues for generations to come.

Your donation will ensure continued support for these vital programs:

• Music therapy
• Pastoral care
• Resident activities including Art Club, Garden Group or bus outings
• Volunteer Services
• Education for palliative care or practical nursing

Your contribution to the Sisters of St. Ann Legacy Fund is invaluable. Until we have reached our goal of $5 million for this fund, the future of these programs is in jeopardy.
